Ms Santa has delved into retirement planning with gusto, leaving no questions unanswered. She has covered a vast range of topics from travel to will planning. A retiree can find a wealth of ideas, resources and information inside the covers of her book. She is an example to us all of someone who puts her ideas into practice.
Connie Penner

Why am I so fortunate? Because I am retired and I can do as I like for the rest of the day- wait, for the rest of my life.
Now here is some more good news. Even if you are the kind of person who never gives advice or takes it, the practical and fun suggestions in Clarice's book will help you navigate life's journey to some really great destinations.

Of note, Clarice is a volunteer guide at a prairie tractor pioneer village. She guides groups of little children around the premises, lets them play on the tractors, explores the heritage buildings and generally has a good time.
Clarice is a lady of integrity and cleverness who carves out her schemes for the retirement of her dreams and yours.

I was delighted to be asked by Clarice Santa to read and review her book, "Achieving A Meaningful Retirement". As a recent retiree, I found her book to be an invaluable source of information I could readily put to use. This book is well organized, easy to read and covers a wide range of pertinent topics on retirement. The information is current and Clarice adds personal anecdotes that add to the enjoyment of the book. I especially enjoyed the travel tips, the travel websites, recipe files and list of places seniors might go to access necessary services.
I would recommend this book to anyone, especially those wishing to be prepared for a fulfilling retirement.

Did you know that in some cases a hand written will does not require a witness? Were you aware that the best time to get a deal on airline tickets is the hour after midnight on Tuesday? Have you every tried chili over rice topped with banana slices?
I have been waiting for a book like this. Seasoned with personal anecdotes, it leaves no stone unturned as the author explores retirement from every angle. Herself retired, this author is an expert. With those 'Golden Years' now comprising up to one third (or more) of our lives, this is a book not to be ignored.

This book is well written, very informative and a must read for everyone
